HeatMatrix develops and manufactures innovative plastic heat exchangers for the recovery of waste heat from industrial flue gases

A significant amount of industrial waste heat still remains unused due to the limited applicability of heat exchanger models.

HeatMatrix has developed a heat exchanger that overcomes these limitations by being ten times lighter, three times more compact and more efficient than regular metal heat exchangers. Its resistance to high temperatures (~ 225 °C) and highly corrosive acids is one of the core strengths of the exchanger. This durability extends the life-time of the heat exchanger.

HeatMatrix's heat exchanger has a short cost-recovery period and a high energy efficiency and can be applied in various industries such as the (petro)chemical, bioenergy, food, agriculture and paper industry.
