Tarique Arsiwalla

Tarique is co-founder of Protix, the world-leading insect company in which SHIFT was the first investor back in 2009. Together with a former colleague from McKinsey he started and scaled Protix to industrial size. The company today serves a variety of markets and customers with circular proteins and other insect-derived ingredients across the globe. As a Venture Partner at SHIFT, Tarique uses his hands-on experience as an entrepreneur to advice the entrepreneurs of the future. He strongly believes in diverse and multi disciplinary teams and has a particular interest in rapid, iterative product development focused on serving the first customers in an early phase.
