About SHIFT
SHIFT Invest is the Netherland’s leading impact VC fund, supporting innovative startups in the food & ag, energy, industry and mobility space to scale and create positive impact for climate and nature. We sit at the intersection of science, technology and capital and work with a small, diverse and committed team.
Why this role
With the launch of our new fund, our portfolio is growing. To maintain rigorous impact work and be able to provide hands-on support for our portfolio companies, we’re looking for an Impact Associate to join the team.
What you’ll do
- Guide and challenge impact analyses and ESG due diligence for new investments, and coordinate impact committee meetings;
- Organise our impact reporting process: collecting data, report-writing, having feedback and reflection conversations;
- Support our portfolio companies to professionalise their impact & ESG practices with hands-on support;
- Inform and inspire our team and broader ecosystem through deep dives, lunch & learns, and other communication initiatives.
What you bring
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in impact measurement, ESG, or sustainability - in consulting, finance, or another relevant organization;
- Familiarity with impact & ESG frameworks. Knowledge of EU sustainability regulations like SFDR is a plus;
- Strong analytical, communicative, and project management skills;
- Mission-driven and curious about technological climate and nature solutions;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
What we offer
- A part-time role designed as such (not a full-time job squeezed into three days);
- A small, driven team working on problems that matter;
- Room and resources for professional growth and development.
