At New Balance Impact Investors, we believe that diverse teams make better investors, and that how we invest, and who we invest in, shapes the world we're building toward.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are important to how we operate: in the way we hire and lead, in the founders we back, and in the ecosystem we engage with. We know that access to capital and opportunity is not equally distributed, and we take seriously our role in changing that.

Within our own team, we are committed to equitable hiring practices, an inclusive culture where everyone can contribute fully, and reflection on our own biases. We hold ourselves accountable with our DEI strategy and ownership across the team.

In our portfolio, we evaluate diversity in founding and management teams, and support our portfolio companies in building workplaces where everyone can thrive. We continue to work toward a goal of 35% of founders, management teams, and employees in our portfolio identifying as female or non-binary.
